Shipping in the coronavirus era: With Israel in the COVID exit phase and the US headed in that direction, much of our shipping is now back to normal. However, in various countries (especially Australia and New Zealand) First Class shipping remains slower than pre-coronavirus norms.
First Class - First Class is sent via Israel Post's ECO service; upon arrival in the US, parcels are handed off to USPS.
DHL Express - Since DHL Express uses its own fleet of cargo planes, shipping times (2-3 business days to most locations) are almost never affected.
» Order Fulfillment - We normally process and dispatch orders within 3-5 business days.
» Customs - US does not levy taxes or duties on Judaica products from Israel.
» Deadline - If you have a specific deadline or target date (e.g. bar mitzvah, wedding), please note this during checkout so that we can make every effort to get your order to you on time.

How to Track your Order
Shipping via Israel Post and USPS.
One or two days after your order was shipped you should have received an automated message with your tracking number, which starts with the letters LX.
Tip: Instead of going to the USPS tracking websites several times, when you first check the tracking, sign up for automated email or text message updates.
Note: The parcel is not scanned from the time it leaves Israel until it has been processed at the International Sorting Center in either New York or Los Angeles. Because this is the first point at which your package gets scanned after leaving Israel, it typically takes several days until you start to see relevant tracking data.
DHL Express shipping is handled by DHL Express couriers from start to finish. Shortly after it ships you can expect to receive an automated email message with a 10-digit tracking number. Typical shipping time is two days, and shipping to the New York area can be as little as one day.
Note: Our DHL Express shipping option is two-day courier service, but leave three business days, to be safe. Also, keep in mind that in Israel DHL does not provide pick-up service on Fridays and does not operate flights out of Israel on Sundays, which means if the shipment does not leave our office by Thursday morning, it could run into a long weekend. If the delivery date is critical, be sure to check with us regarding fulfillment time before you place the order. Sometimes we can get orders out within one or two days, but not always.
General Tips: Whichever shipping option you choose, it's generally advisable, when possible, to use an address where someone is on hand during daytime hours, such as a work address. And if you have a critical target date (wedding, bar mitzvah, etc.), mention that in the comments field.
